The Photosight

I started the The Photosight following my long career with Time Inc. in New York where I worked in various capacities associated with the Time Inc. Picture Collection including:

• Founding Director of the LIFE Gallery of Photography in 1985-1988 and Director from 2001-2002
• Photo Editor of EYEWITNESS, 150 Years of Photojournalism (Oxmoor House, 1990)
• Co-producer of the EMMY Award winning documentary, W. Eugene Smith, Photography Made Difficult (1989, independent production)
• Producer, Women Photographers, an HDTV  video (Time Warner, 1993)
• Creator and Editor, Time Life Photo Sight, the Time Inc. Picture Collection’s web site on Pathfinder
• Director of Special Projects, Time Inc. Picture Collection
• Producer and Curator of exhibitions for Time Warner and Time Inc. senior executive offices, and public spaces in the Rockefeller Plaza headquarters, and Time and Life Building in New York

Following that career I began to work part-time with Alex Novak at Vintage Works, Ltd. and IPhotoCentral.  I also began The Photosight as a means to sell fine art photographs by primarily 20th Century photographers with an emphasis on photojournalism. I plan to expand by including more information about these photographers and the genre, as well as, adding some of my own creative projects.
